THANK YOU !

For all
those of you who supported the Church Open Weekend – Thank you!

Our
premises looked wonderful, were warm and inviting -and the wreath makers all
looked really pleased with their results. Thank you, Dawn.

Tables and
chairs moved around and all the rooms occupied with activities and stewards.

And what cake!!
Bakers – you did our church proud with the amount on offer and the variety for
our valued café servers to plate up. If you couldn’t be there, you baked. Thank
you so very much. And we have plenty in the Café freezer now to see us through
until Christmas.

The
children who came really enjoyed the activities and their parents, the warm
welcome that they received.

The Lord
and Lady Mayoress looked resplendent in their robes (their third official duty
on Sunday), and the Nativity Lights worked perfectly to time, thanks to a break
in the rain.

As usual,
we feasted on generosity at our shared lunch and Jane Webb has left us with
much to think on as we journey forward.

There is a
long list of people who helped and got involved.
