Eco Church

We believe that all Christians have a duty to care for God's creation. You will see how we do that in various parts of our church life.

Eco Church is an award scheme for churches of all denominations in England and Wales, who want to show that the gospel is good news for God's earth. Each church has to look at five key areas of church life toqualify for a bronze, silver or gold Eco Church Award.
We achieved the Bronze award in September 2021. You can see our progress towards the Silver award here.

The Bristol District Environmental Group

The Bristol District of the Methodist Church covers Gloucestershire, Greater Bristol and large parts of Somerset and Wiltshire.
The District Environmental Group aims to link up people across the District with an interest in environmental affairs. They have created a District Environment Policy, they produce a quarterly newsletter and have a Facebook page. You can find out more here.
