Ladies' Friendship Club

2.00pm Second Mondays

We are still meeting on a monthly basis at 2.30pm on the second Monday each month (excluding August). Our Change from the evening to the afternoon has proved popular. We have 38 ladies on our register.

Our programme started in April 2022 with Easter Devotions with Michael & Anita Payne, then we had a fun afternoon with Rosemary Morgan who entertained us with her memories & monologues.

During the year, we brought our memories of being Elizabethans, had quizzes and a beetle drive. We learnt about the Macular Society & heard about Peter Shaw's fascinating trip round Scotland.

Unfortunately snow & ice persuaded us we needed to cancel our Christmas party, but the Christmas tree festival, for which Kay Jenkins guided our preparations, had taken place the previous week.

We continue to support various charities with our fundraising afternoon.

We are a friendly group and would welcome new members.
