The Climate Coalition are organising a special event next week. It is not a march, demonstration or protest. It is a chance to speak up for God's creation, and make your concerns known to your MP.
On Wednesday 9th July 2025, thousands of people from every corner of the UK will converge on Westminster to tell our MPs: we need you to protect our health, our nature, our communities, our climate, and our future.
Our MPs have an opportunity to protect what matters most here in the UK and around the world – from our green spaces, rivers, and woodlands, to our health, our communities and our future. You don't need to be a campaigner, or to have met your MP before, or have even spoken about climate or nature to join in. All venues will be fully accessible and there will be timed appointments to meet in groups with MP's to avoid long queues.
Beth Sweet, one of the Church Stewards at Hucclecote is taking part. She is already involved in various activities at Hucclecote helping us protect and nurture God's creation. She has responded to the call from a wide range of organisations including A Rocha and Christian Aid urging all Christians who can to be present so we can demonstrate collectively and publicly God's love for his creation.
The Climate Coalition are the UK's largest group of people and organisations dedicated to tackling climate change and restoring nature. They bring together over 130 organisations including the National Trust, A Rocha (who run the Ecochurch scheme), Women's Institute, Christian Aid, WaterAid, the Wildlife Trusts and RSPB.
