Meeting 2nd Tuesday each month. 10am-noon.

Our inaugural meeting was in early 2024 after it was decided that it would be good to get to know each other, other than just a quick chat on a Sunday morning. Apart from being male, there is no qualification for attending. Initial numbers included church members or people having some connection with the church. Since then numbers have grown and include neighbours down Carisbrooke Road and those with little or no connection to the church.
Our regular meetings are attended by 15--20. We go out for lunch in July and December and take a break in August.
There are no subscriptions. We ask for a voluntary contribution for a drink and biscuits. Once a year we will ask for a nominal amount extra to go to the church to cover heat and light.
Most meetings will include a speaker. Many of our membership have spoken about their careers or hobbies. Other speakers have included Prostate Cancer Support Group, Gloucester Soldiers Museum, Ukraine supplies charity. There is time for general chat around the café tables and open forums after the speaker or on a topic of interest eg. scams or similar issues affecting us all.
